Kenya. High Altitude, High Standards.
Grown on volcanic red soil in the Nyeri and Kirinyaga highlands, this AA-grade lot comes from smallholder cooperatives working altitudes between 1,700 and 2,100 metres. The SL28 and SL34 varietals — bred specifically for this terroir — are what give Kenyan coffee its signature brightness.

Cooperative-level, traceable to the washing station.

Kenya's double-fermentation washing process — a 24-hour soak followed by a second wash — is one of the most labour-intensive in the coffee world. It's also why Kenyan AA lots consistently score among the highest globally for clarity and acidity. We work directly with cooperative-level lots rather than blended commercial grades, so every batch we bring to the Salem-Kochi Highway can be traced back to the specific washing station it came from.
